Chapter 1.3 - Azure command-line interface

The Azure CLI is an interface within Azure Portal where you can use commands to edit, create, configure, manage, and delete Azure resources with an emphasis on automation. You can achieve the same tasks you normally would do in Azure Portal, but within Azure CLI with commands. GUI (Azure Portal) vs CLI (Azure CLI).
