Azure Blob
Blob storage is a object-store that is optimized for storing massive amounts of unstructured data. Unstructured data is data that doesn't adhere to a particular data model or definition, such as text or binary data.
- Azure Blobs are composed of the components:
- Storage Accounts
- A unique namespace in Azure for your data http://mystorageaccount.blob.core.windows.net
- Containers
- Similar to a folder in a file system
- Blobs
- The actual data being stored
